Job description

The Managing Director will lead a team to deliver top and bottom line wholesale and retail results for all brands, through superior omni-channel management, sales, operations, brand stewardship and execution of consumer experience. Takes accountability of strategic commercial business and talent initiatives in given market through development, ownership and execution of annual plans.

Responsible for delivering and executing the Company’s long- and short-term strategies to drive ALL BRANDS through LS&Co Wholesale and Retail channels with the objectives of achieving annual and long term financial goals to maximize shareholder value and building brand equity. Key member of the Levi Strauss Europe Leadership Team.
Develop wholesale key account business development strategies and execute flawlessly
Deliver P&L results that meet or exceed established goals
Influence to ensure product offerings, store layout/design/location and marketing efforts are executed against brands standards and meet local market wholesale needs
Actively engage with regional Merchandising to ensure appropriate product offering and segmentation,
Build strong collaborative business partnership for Operations, Finance, HR, to ensure alignment between brand needs/obligations and "market" inventory strategies
Develop talent planning for geographic area
Lead, motivate and instill excellence in all employees of organization
Drive brand equity at the customer level through excellent execution of wholesale and customer marketing programs resulting in continuous enhancement of the brand. This effort should lead to clarity of brand positioning, increased traffic and subsequent increase in sales
Maintain execution responsibility for franchisees
Improve capability of direct reports by creating a team defined by rich talent, deep and capable bench strength, and strong succession plans that reflect the LS&Co way and “winning culture”
Ensure optimal organizational design / developmental structures and processes in place for teams which leverage and perform at a high level within the LS&Co. matrix
Positively contribute to the community, actively working with both government entities and non-government organizations to introduce and uphold the core values of Levi Strauss & Co.
Desired Skills and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree-Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience; Masters of Business Administration preferred

Experience:
A minimum of twelve years experience overseeing sales teams in a wholesale environment with experience in similar channels of distribution.
Demonstrated track record of success defining a sales strategy that has consistently delivered growth and profitability, top and bottom line
Demonstrated ability to function effectively and comfortably, working across functions and geographies in a global, highly matrixed organization.
Functional Competencies:
Ability to create and execute the regional sales strategy.
Proven capacity to create comprehensive merchandise strategies by channel and by customer that is supported by solid pricing, promotion and in-store execution.
Externally focused on the market and consumer to ensure an engaging 4P (e.g., Product, Price, Place & Promotion) presentation on floor in wholesale and/or retail channels to drive sales and build brand equity.
Demonstrated success in execution of sales strategy to achieve performance targets, focus on growth and retention of key wholesale accounts, franchisee retail, and development of new/alternative accounts.
Marketing expertise to assist in the development of regional programs, and execution of country specific plans. Enhancing brand equity at the customer level through execution of customer marketing programs.
Ability to constantly review competitor strategy and operations to ensure the adoption of industry best practices.
Ability to optimize cash flow making tradeoffs with constrained resources.

Marketing Automation Specialist
who has a wealth of marketing automation experience in addition to a strong understanding of brand in order to help shape our digital marketing strategy.
Your task:
The testing and execution of international e-mail and social media campaigns
Managing campaign / project plans, timelines, deliverables and communicating with the appropriate resources – including remote team members overseas
Generating campaign related metrics and reports
Working closely with internal clients and global MDS team members to develop an efficient workflow for international digital campaign management - using Salesforce.com and Eloqua (English vs. multi local languages, centrally vs. locally managed, individual vs. corporate sender et al)

Desired Skills and Experience
Your skills:
University Degree (e.g. economics, communication)
Two to four years of experience in Marketing Automation / Digital Marketing
Experience in digital campaign design and execution
Experience with Email Service Provider applications (preferably Eloqua)
Experience with HTML
Experience with Photoshop
Experience with CRM Systems preferred (preferably Salesforce.com)
General understanding of role of web technologies used in digital marketing
Understanding of social media landscapes
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal communications skills to participate in internal client relationships, facilitate team work and support business-building activities
Strong analytical skills
Fluent in English and German (3rd language would be preferred, e.g. Spanish)

Implementation Director - ADP - Dealer Services International - Cologne

Currently for our operations in the DACH region we are looking for an experienced Implementation Director to lead our cross functional teams in this part of the world.

The main purpose of the role is to manage delivery of all Implementation and Training Services projects in the region ensuring its success and profitability. The role includes overall responsibility for all operational aspects of our Business, including successful delivery of projects, customer satisfaction, achievement of financial objectives, and the growth and development of the team. The position combines operational management, personnel management, and client relationship management.

This is a very challenging and interesting role for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who can add value to our business and help us on our journey to building a strong, professional delivery team for the growing DACH region.

Key Responsibilities:

Define the overall Software Implementation and Training strategy and execution.
Oversight of (and hands on management as required) planning, managing and controlling the implementation of multiple projects to a wide range of customers
Ensure all Service processes are initiated and executed in accordance with our standards and best practices; meet requirements and that they are implemented and supported in a consistent manner.
Develop and maintain standards of performance of the team through effective coaching and performance management. Team and people management encompassing formal and daily processes, mentoring and coaching, performance management
Attend customer steering meeting, act as prime customer escalation point during the project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain service standards and ensure understanding and adherence to the requirements of KPI’s

Achievement of defined commercial targets

Implementation Director would be a key part of the management team and is expected to contribute to the performance of the business as a whole.
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with proven track record of delivering complex, multi end user software project and managing cross functional teams.
Knowledge of the ERP type software development life cycle is essential and understating of the automotive industry would be considered an advantage.
We require our candidates to be able to demonstrate broad knowledge of team management including setting KPI and carrying our performance reviews.
We would like to see applications from candidates who managed change and are able to coach and develop teams. Experience within a complex, matrix managed organisation would be desirable.
We are looking for hard- working, driven and well organised individuals who thrive on challenges and are prepared to help us improve our operations in the DACH region.

Our candidates need to be able to demonstrate:-

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
External ERP software implementation exposure
Customer management, involving multi end users and licenses, ideally within the automotive retail industry
Excellent People management
Successful track record of delivering software implementations of no less than USD5m budget, 2 year duration and team size of 30
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
Experience in multinational companies and working with multi-cultural project teams
IT industry or automotive industry knowledge added advantage, but not mandatory
