Client Development Manager - Google - Hamburg

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Life for advertisers in the digital world is increasingly complex. How do they attribute across channels, get a single customer view across devices, measure the branding impact of digital or make sense of big data. These are all questions for which advertisers are looking for answers.

As Client Development Manager at Doubleclick DACH, you will be responsible for looking after an industry area to help C-level customers navigate the complex space of programmatic buying, working with them to create the right technology solutions to help them grow their digital business. You will work across all products in the Doubleclick ad technology stack and help advertisers to understand how best they could leverage Doubleclick technology (and other Google solutions as appropriate).

You will be an experienced sales person with a strong foundation in digital media and technology platforms. As an exceptional communicator you are able to translate the benefits of complex technology by making it relevant for customers and bringing it to life via a customer centric narrative. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration within the Doubleclick org and across Google, also internationally. You will need to be a thought leader and evangelist for ad technology and a key contributor to our externally facing narrative development and communication.

Responsibilities
Conceive and execute the strategy for developing our client relationships in DACH with a special focus on a particular industry segment.
Lead projects within the internal sales org, driving innovation, efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate and influence cross-functional groups across sales, marketing and product with Doubleclick and across Google Germany.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

Digital expert with passion for evangelising the benefits of advertising technology.
Strong understanding of online media buying and selling processes with a knowledge of Adserving, DSPs, SEM Bid management, Ad Exchanges and Analytics.
Strategic development and deployment skills, strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
Strong communication skills. A proven track record to develop and maintain trusted partnerships, comfortable presenting complex solutions to C-level audiences.

Program Director - Stefanini EMEA - Hamburg


Job description
As the Programme Director you will plan, manage and lead multiple, concurrent (and typically related) service towers (Global Service Desk, Field Service, Networking, Future Workplace Management) and activities to achieve a defined set of business objectives which are aligned to first get the contract signed and then deliver a global infrastructure outsourcing program to a large global client with more than 160.000 employees
Key accountabilities:
Lead the technical negotiation in the contract negotiation interfacing with Stefanini internal stakeholders and our partners
Ensure the collective outcome of programme outputs are effectively achieved and embedded within the business.
Extensive sponsor and stakeholder engagement, expectation management and influencing.
Identify and secure internal and external resources required to execute the programme. Build a high performing team with the right blend of skills for the work.
Manage contract and programme risks and agree appropriate actions to mitigate/control.
Pro-actively manage issues, taking action to achieve urgent resolution and escalating promptly and clearly where necessary
Create a sense of urgency and vision around the programme, fostering pace and drive to deliver. Champion the deliverables of the programme both within and outside the programme team.
Become a trusted advisor to the programme sponsor and key stakeholders, communicating true status in an appropriate form, proposing well thought out actions to address issues and risks, and balancing cost/risk of scope changes against benefit
Provide visibility of programme progress against budget and schedule, in a reporting format suitable for sponsor and steering group audiences, enabling informed executive decisions and actions to be taken
Manage programme budget in conjunction with Financial Management and Programme Sponsor, ensuring the completion of contractual procedures and documentation in liaison with Purchasing and 3rd parties where appropriate. Seek ways to reduce cost and increase or bring forward benefits.
Manage implementation in such a way as to minimise disruption to BAU
Manage relationships with contacts at all levels and across all Company X sites, in order to establish effective working relationships between members of the programme team, programme sponsor, key stakeholders and the programme board. Continually develop this network of contacts across the business to enable achievement of objectives and maintain these for future initiatives.
Set reasonable, challenging and clear accountabilities and responsibilities for programme team members. This includes providing performance feedback to programme team members
Manage the process to achieve consensus on alternative solutions and recommendations, using facilitation and negotiation skills. Influencing up to Director level.
Ensure effective communication of key programme information at all levels across Company X. Assume overall responsibility for reporting programme progress to key stakeholders in a timely fashion.

Desired Skills and Experience
Relevant professional qualification in Programme Management (Prince 2, MSP), ITIL, ISO 20.000, ISO 27000
Experience of working at board level
Relevant business experience and technical experience in all service towers and execution of programmes within previous roles.
German native with fluent English preferably based in the North West of Germany

We are looking for a senior sales executive, with experience in online advertising and good connections amongst both top agencies and top advertisers. The successful candidate must be a team player that will take full ownership of the German market, develop the go to market plan, and build and maintain the necessary relationships with agencies and advertisers.
We are seeking a team player that takes initiative, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and knows how to create relationships that last. This stellar sales professional is someone who has both experience evangelizing products and has the ability to carry the sales process from prospecting to close. This is truly a chance of a lifetime to impact a company that is in the process of transforming the online media industry. 

The role will report to our EVP Europe. Account Management and Client Services will initially be provided out of our European head-quarters in London, but are intended to migrate to Germany as our local business grows. 

Desired Skills & Experience

Responsibilities
Present DoubleVerify’s solutions to key decision makers within agencies and brands. Attend industry events to promote the company and generate leads.
Build go-to-market plan, identifying agency and brands that are critical to our market presence.
Rapidly build out local business breaking into new accounts and deepening the relationship with existing accounts.
Partner with internal support teams to ensure maximum levels of client-facing customer service
Partner with internal product management to provide feedback on product roadmap from a client perspective.
Requirements
Stellar sales performance through resourceful execution
Excellent understanding off agency dynamics, how they operate and buy campaigns
Must have extensive contacts at top interactive agencies/brand advertisers (including media,operations, analytics) and have a strong knowledge of accounts, planning teams and planning cycles
Must show accountability/ownership through every stage of client business: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, must be customer service driven
The ability to create partnerships based on value and a talent for consultative selling
Strong knowledge of online marketing techniques and technologies. Experience in selling ad server technologies is a clear plus.
Collaborate with multiple internal support teams for smooth campaign execution
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
5+ years’ experience in online media / online technology sales
Proficient in Salesforce

For an initial three month period the person will spend the majority of her or his time in London for training purposes. After that she or he will operate out of Germany (Hamburg preferred, but Berlin, Düsseldorf or München are also an option)
