Director Regional Marketing in Munich (m/w)

You have extensive B2B marketing and communications background with a proven track record in driving growth and ROI. You have experience working with sales leadership, providing successful customer acquisition lead generation programs. Your Next Challenge:

Establish a strong strategic partnership with both local sales leadership and global marketing to develop and implement a strategic marketing plan that delivers on revenue goals.
Drive the vision and plan based on market opportunity analysis and customer/sector insights and the appropriate allocation of available resource.
Steer ongoing optimization of marketing mix performance through rigorous results analysis and applied learning’s.
Provide strong leadership in balancing and managing the demands for meeting both short term and long term requirements and initiatives.
Empower, coach, manage and lead a team that delivers successful, well executed multi-and single channel customer acquisition and retention marketing programs.
Forge and develop with your team powerful co-marketing partnerships, sponsorships and opportunities to further connect in the marketplace.
Extend thought leadership experience through regular speaking engagements and media opps.
Budget: effectively manage and optimize overall marketing spend, including re-forecasting, reconciliation and reporting.

What You'll Need:

Minimum 8 years relevant and/or management experience in B2B marketing preferred.
Solid experience in developing strategic plans and managing tactical marketing teams.
Experience in developing integrated/multi- channel campaigns and programs for the purposes of customer acquisition, retention across a media mix in both online and offline environments.
Significant experience in partnering/aligning with sales functions toward revenue objectives.
Solid experience in leading and managing lead generation, customer acquisition and retention programs and activities.
Strong knowledge of all key online marketing channels: SEM/SEO, Social Media, Retargeting, Affiliate, Display Media Site Merchandising and E-mail Marketing.
Able to understand, support and even operate sometimes at the tactical level whilst always leading/managing from a strategic viewpoint.
Able to partner across a matrixed structure to achieve your objectives.
Ability to partner and communicate to Senior Management, able to make your ideas and approaches easily understood.
Fluent German and English required. Additional European languages beneficial
Must have deep understanding of German language markets; experience across other European markets (FR, NL, ES, IT) as well as Middle East and Turkey beneficial.
Pefer Media, Content, Corporate Marketing experience and specifically B2B (must have sales support, Eloqua experience) Note: avoid IT due to difference in Sales cycle, order values, budgets)
