The Role:

The Cluster Sales Manager for Germany/Austria will be responsible for the strategy setting, account planning and execution within the cluster, including developing annual sales budget, monitoring the ongoing sales performance and instigating corrective action as necessary.

In this role you will:

Responsible for overall Sales Performance and P&L of the Cluster
Define Cluster Sales Plan in alignment with the Regional Operating Plan
Collaborate with Region Head, Regional Marketing Managers and Account Managers’ to agree on Cluster Strategy aligned with the Category priorities
Define Account priorities and allocate resources accordingly
Define revenue and profit targets and Cluster KPIs
Identify and realise business development opportunities within the Cluster and develop clear rationale for investment
Develop and approve Customer Account Plans
for Key Accounts under their management responsibility: develop Account Plan, lead account relationship and execute plan (this will involve negotiating plan and contracting)
for accounts managed by Account Managers: provide input to and approve Account Plans,
Identify accounts that need support from RHs or Category Teams in negotiation
Work closely with Regional Marketing Manager (Responible for the marketing execution in the Central Region) as well as the Channel Marketing Managers (located in the Country) to ensure effective deployment of Marketing resources and execution of Marketing activities
Ensure alignment with central International Accounts team
Ensure Cluster adherence to centrally-defined category policies, Int’l Account guidelines and pricing policies in each Account plan
Review Cluster Sales performance and explain results to Region Head
Work closely with the Region Head and RMM Region Head to ensure alignment on priorities and effective allocation of resources
Provide input into monthly Sales Region Business Review and end of year evaluation

Your Skills:
For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:
Minimum of 8 years in sales management and successful P&L management
Strong understanding of market dynamics in Germany and Austria to drive the business forward with strong network in relevant channel
Proven track record of achieving Sales targets
Excellent Leadership skills and ability to drive sales team and used to work in cross functional matrix organization
