Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen at PAREXEL in Berlin within the Logistics Services Department. In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead the Global Depot and Production Services and direct the efficient and cost-effective operation of trial distribution centre(s) and/or warehousing facilities which handle all clinical trial materials as an internal/external customer service oriented department.
Liaise and interact daily with Directors and Managers from CTM, Supply Chain Services from Clinical Trial Supply, Ancillary Supply as well as with Central Laboratory Services.
Provide global leadership of all inbound activities related to the receipt, storage of goods, inventory management, and claims.
Oversee outbound activities related to order-filling, assembly, stock replenishment and shipping.
Ownership for budgeting, customer service, facility and equipment operation is an essential activity.
Administration of overall inventory management, productivity, accuracy, and loss prevention programs to ensure that customer requirements are met.
Analysis and logistical development, and resource client projects with highly motivated, and suitably developed warehouse professionals and retain and develop these professionals within PAREXEL.
Manage the operational performance, ensuring appropriate key performance indicators achievements and high quality deliverables.
Lead and supervise logistical, technical and financial consultation to Managers and Directors and networking with related business departments at CLS, PAREXEL/perceptive and third party providers.
Promote new business by participating in internal PAREXEL-meetings and work streams, project/program bids and client presentations as appropriate.
Desired Skills & Experience
Pharmaceutical Industry expertise welcome, ideally in Clinical Trial Supply / Ancillary Supply Services
Demonstrated ability to lead a global service oriented organization and to motivate direct reports.
Strong Expertise in Logistics processes
Solid Budget Management experience
Extensive experience in global warehouse operation and distribution management
