Job Description

Develops and executes a market-driven strategy focused on identifying revenue-growth (with particular emphasis on international markets), and market-share gain opportunities, and ultimately positioning the business for accelerated competitive advantage.
Provides leadership focused on maintaining a lean, talented and aggressive team that is highly focused on delivering results; effectively manage change in the transition to a global organization.
Drives the RBS culture and implementation of the RBS process to drive performance improvements in quality, delivery cost, & growth.  
Achieves superior financial results and actively manage the business’ financials (budgets, profit & loss and balance sheet). 
Leads regular operating and strategy deployment reviews to ensure attainment of results and a sense of urgency with respect to Rexnord Business System and commercial growth priorities.
Ensures operating metrics and key performance indicator systems are consistently tracking the appropriate measures and provoking appropriate responsive behavior.
Continuously identifies “where” the specific application opportunities are and leads the team in development and execution of strategies and tactics to “win the business”.
Oversees the pricing process to optimize the balance between margin and revenue.
Evolves supply chain efficiency and assess opportunities to reduce cost, taking aggressive action to drive financial performance.
Ensures effective allocation of resources across all areas of the organization to accomplish customer-driven priorities.
Presents financial plans and actual results, as well as strategy deployment progress Plans and directs a division's activities, policies, objectives, and initiatives according to the mission of the organization.
Ensures the division meets budgeted financial goals and objectives.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
This position manages, develops and motivates the staff and builds the department through the proper selection, training, guidance and reviews of individual performance and also makes appropriate compensation related recommendations. Responsible for the development of goals and objectives for the staff in accordance with Rexnord’s mission, vision and values.

Desired Skills & Experience

Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of experience in the field, with a mix of proven commercial/ marketing leadership and strategic decision making
Possess a proven track record of delivering results as a general manager or senior leader with profit and loss responsibility in a manufacturing business providing technologically-complex, application-specific products.
Demonstrated success in growing revenue and market share (emphasis on international) is essential, preferably in an organization with a lean operating system.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
